What is involved with an initial vasectomy reversal evaluation?

When you come in to our state-of-the-art facility for an evaluation, Dr. Kuang and the rest of our staff will listen carefully to your story, ask questions about your medical history, discuss your goals and do a complete physical examination, with special attention paid to the reproductive anatomy; we take the time to get the whole picture. Additionally, a careful and gentle examination of your scrotum will be performed to make sure all the “plumbing” that carries sperm out to your penis is present. Based on the findings, our staff will present options and answer your questions or address your concerns.

What is the Vasectomy Reversal procedure like?

This surgery is performed in 2.5 – 3.5 hours on an outpatient basis as an office procedure under “twilight” anesthesia, (local anesthesia with sedation). This means that you can generally return home or to the hotel within an hour of the completion of the procedure.
